For the second stop of our inaugural BAZAAR Beauty Day Out, Leanne Ho (@loveforskincare), Christabel Chua (@bellywellyjelly), Michelle Sielman (@bubblymichelle) and I proceeded to the Sulwhasoo store at Capitol Piazza. Strategically located in the heart of City Hall, it provides an ideal escape from the city's hustle and bustle with its elegantly decorated and tranquil setting. As the brand's ASEAN flagship, the Capitol Piazza store stocks exclusive products in addition to a comprehensive range of skincare and makeup products.

Firstly, we checked out the First Care Activating Serum EX, $115, which won Best Booster Serum in the Harper's BAZAAR Beauty Awards 2017. As Sulwhasoo's best-selling product, this essential first step is designed to normalise skin's moisture levels and amplify the effects of products applied subsequently. It contains the proprietary JAUM Balancing Complex, an exclusive blend of prized Korean herbs painstakingly extracted through an 18-hour process. This provides an optimal cocktail of active ingredients that deliver moisture, combats dullness and firms skin for a healthy, glowing complexion.

Next, we were treated to a product demonstration of the Timetreasure Renovating Eye Serum, $348. Ideal for those concerned with signs of ageing around the eyes, this packs anti-ageing extracts to firm the eye contours and smooth out fine lines and wrinkles. As the winner of Best Firming Eye Product in our Harper's BAZAAR Beauty Awards 2017, this luxurious formula contains the precious Red Pine extract, which requires an extensive 11-step process to obtain. It is also fortified with saponins derived from red and white ginseng to nourish and plump skin.

To maximise its benefits, our beauty consultant used the Golden Eye Care Massager to apply the Timetreasure Renovating Eye Serum. This nifty tool is uniquely shaped so all four of its surfaces can be used to perform specific massages to help energise, de-puff, brighten and lift the eye area.
For a complete pampering experience, we were also given a tour of the two well-appointed facial cabins housed within the flagship. Also available are holistic facial programmes that are designed to cater to all skin conditions.
