BAZAAR’s Weekend Beauty Review: Top-To-Toe Gorgeousness

Senior Beauty Writer Joyce Cheo dishes on her body smoothing faves

Chloe

Tonic Body Treatment Oil, $80, Clarins

A DIY-spa-in-a-bottle, this nourishing body oil replenishes skin with vitamins A and E to improve skin elasticity and moisture. I like using this at night because the scent relaxes me and I wake up to soft and supple skin.

Pedi-Balm, $40, Clarisonic

Although it’s designed to work with Clarisonic’s Pedi Device, I keep this beside my bed for a night-time rub down to soothe tired legs and feet. It smoothes chapped skin, especially at the heels and balls of my feet so there’s no scratchy sensation against my silk sheets.

Future Solution LX Total Regenerating Body Cream, Shiseido

I use this in the day, before getting dressed because its sumptuous texture envelops skin in a silky veil without greasiness. Skin feels super soft and looks more radiant instantly while the potent anti-ager, Skingenecall 1P, works to minimise the appearance of lines and spots.

Body Crème, $190, Clé de Peau Beauté

With such a hefty price tag, this promises and delivers nothing but the best: the lavish salve melts into skin to instantly soften and moisturise. Plus, thanks to precious botanicals, it also plumps skin and boosts its resilience over time.

No. 5 The Body Crème, Chanel

Infused with one of my all-time favourite scents, this buttery body cream laces skin with the delicate powdery classic while leaving it velvety smooth – perfect for layering under the scent.

Silky Foot Talcum Powder Cool Veil, Révérence De Bastien

Sweaty feet are not the sexiest, most glamorous things around, so what do I do to keep my feet fresh and dry? I dust on this before slipping into my favourite Chanel ballet flats – it forms a moisture-absorbing, antiseptic veil over my skin and even helps prevent blisters and calluses.

Phytobuste + Décolleté Intensive Firming Bust Compound, Sisley

We’re all guilty of neglecting our décolleté when it comes to sunscreen, that’s why I’m super glad for this. It has a lightweight, serum-like texture that doesn’t feel sticky nor greasy and I can notice that the skin around my chest area still looks smooth and plump even after a long day in air-conditioning.
