“This collection is done for people of any age who might like it—also young people who know more about makeup than all of us," Lagerfeld told WWD. The designer has dabbled in color cosmetics in the past, but this launch with ModelCO is much larger and saw Lagerfeld more involved than ever before. "I had never done such a complete (makeup) collection before,” he told WWD.

The collection includes two Choupette-inspired eyeshadow palettes ($65), 15 different lip glosses and lipsticks with a built-in mirror and LED light ($28 each), and four glittery lip top coats. There are also brow products, mascara, and two dual-ended eyeliners, with one side being a stamp of Karl's silhouette and the other Choupette wearing sunglasses. If you're in the market for makeup brushes, you'll find a kabuki brush and a brush set here as well. We'll update this post with photos of every product on May 14.

The most expensive product in the line is a minaudière with five lip products inside (see above). It rings in at $195—which is pretty steep for makeup, but not when you learn just how hard it will be to get your hands on the products. The Karl Lagerfeld for ModelCo collection is super limited edition. So when it sells out, it sells out. The brand notes to WWD that it is meant to be a collectible.
