Nars is not not just known for their incredible makeup, but also naming their products in a unique and memorable way. Be it a risque slant like their cult blusher ‘Orgasm’ or their eyeshadows, which are named after cities from all the world. There’re eyeshadow duos called ‘Tokyo’, ‘Kuala Lumpur’ and ‘Paris’, even a pure matte lipstick named after ‘Bangkok’.

Well, now it’s finally our turn!

Time to rejoice as the cult cosmetic brand has not overlooked our little red dot. They have finally released an eyeshadow quad, named after our sunny Singapore.

The quad features their newer, revamped eyeshadow formula that is pigmented, yet creamy and ultra blendable. We can all heave a sigh of relief as the quad did not incorporate any bright red nor stark whites. Instead, it reflects Singapore’s tropical, alway-sunny weather with warm, golden colours. The Singapore quad contains a sparkling pale gold shade, a metallic brass, antique bronze and a shimmery deep rust colour for a reddish sunset vibe.

Honestly, we are living for it!

Every colour is wearable and perfect for everyday. The warm tones work great on any skin tone, making it awesome for Singapore’s multicultural population. Though there are no matte shades, these shimmers make for ideal one-shadow eye looks, for busy ladies who prefer a wash of colour on the lids. Naturally, Singapore is the first to launch the Singapore Quad Eyeshadow and it will be exclusively sold in Singapore for one month before the rest of the world can get their hands on it.

Nars‘ Singapore Quad Eyeshadow launches 9th August, of course, and retails for S$80. Don’t worry, if you can’t nab it on National Day, it will be a permanent additional to Nars global line-up.
