Like The Blonds show but without the crazy purple extensions, the hair look at Area also saw models rocking a super-high bun with the length of their hair falling to one side.
Everything is bigger in Texas. So it only makes sense that Brandon Maxwell's Texas-inspired show would see models stomp the runway with sky-high volume. "The inspiration behind the look was Texas and all-American—think tailgates, coolers and Brooke Shields. Hair was styled to be beautiful, fresh, healthy, and away from the face," hairstylist James Pecis said backstage.
Hairstylist Kien Hoang for Oribe used tie-dyed extensions that mimic the seven chakras backstage at Collina Strada.
Oversized hoop earrings called for a sleek and shiny braid at Cushnie et Och's spring 2019 show.
Voluminous '80s-inspired curls and volume was the hair look backstage at Escada.

The hair at Badgley Mischka was slicked-back only to behind the ears, serving as the perfect frame for statement earrings.
Hairstylist Duffy created grungy, '90s-inspired, hat-head waves on the models backstage at R13.
“The Tory girl is confident. She’s a little uptown and a little downtown. I’m using Redken Full Frame 07 All-Over Volumizing Mousse to give this look a natural edge with a little softness," hairstylist Guido Palau said backstage. "I’ve left the girls’ natural texture throughout their lengths unless their hair is very straight, where I’ll add a loose bend. I also left out the baby hairs around the hairline to obtain a slightly boyish, effortless look with a touch of strength in a very Tory way. This is the perfect example of using one product to achieve a fashion-focused look.”
The Disney villain-inspired show called for electric lavender hair tied to a top knot and spilling over to one side.
“To achieve this chic and bohemian look, be sure to give the hair texture at the roots. That’s how you get the 60’s boho feel," hairstylist Odile Gilbert, who worked with TRESemmé, said backstage at Jonathan Simkhai. Look closely and you'll see tiny baby braids with beads hidden in all that texture.
"For shorter hair or if you want to keep hair natural, skip the pony and slick hair back with a brush using the TRESemmé Compressed Micro-Mist Hold Level 4: Extend Hair Spray throughout and add Kitsch Straight Metal Bobby Pins on both sides," hairstylist Justine Marjan, who worked with TRESemmé, said backstage at the show.

For hairstylist Odile Gilbert, Rodarte's hair look was all about romance. That meant models walked the runway wearing pounds of fresh flowers knotted, tied, and woven throughout their hair. Bows and metallic starburst accessories added a little of Rodartae's subversive and feminine edge back to the look.
