Britney Spears Is Almost Finished Writing Her 'Brutally Honest' Memoir

Reports say the superstar's tell-all book could be released before the holidays.

Fans of Britney Spears will soon be able to hear her life story in her own words.

The pop icon is reportedly in the final stages of writing her tell-all memoir, after signing a multimillion-dollar deal with Simon & Schuster in February 2022. Page Six and Entertainment Tonight have both reported that the book is almost complete, with sources predicting that the "groundbreaking" book will be an instant bestseller.

"Britney's book is brutally honest and from the heart," one source told Page Six. "No stone is left unturned. It's truly a female empowerment story – her taking control of her life."

A separate publishing insider told the outlet, "Britney's book is a story of triumph. It will cover her most vulnerable moments, her childhood – being a little girl with big dreams – her breakup with Justin Timberlake, the moment she shaved her head, and her battle with her family over her conservatorship."

"It is also a story of survival, finding her way out of the crippling conservatorship to finding happiness with her husband Sam Asghari," they continued.

Page Six also reported that the Stronger singer been working with ghostwriter Sam Lansky, who has previously profiled several music superstars, including Madonna, Nicki Minaj, and Adele.

Though no official details have been released, several insiders believe that the memoir will be released before the holidays.

Spears' reported $15 million book deal was reported three months after a California judge terminated the star's 13-year long conservatorship last November. The pop star has since been outspoken about her treatment during the legal arrangement ended, in which her father, Jamie Spears, had control over her personal, professional, and financial matters.
