Kendall Jenner's 22nd Birthday Party: Everything You Need To Know

After a lavish, star-studded 21st birthday bash last year, Kendall Jenner turned 22 last night with a slightly lower-key celebration in LA. But that doesn't mean it was any less enviable. Below, we round up everything you need to know about the model's big day.

BUT FIRST, SELFIE

Hours before heading out, Jenner prepped with a celebratory Snapchat from home.

THE LOCATION

Jenner hosted a birthday dinner at Petite Taqueria in Los Angeles. The restaurant was decked out in Dia De Los Muertos-inspired decorations, with candle lighting and black and gold balloons, according to a source with knowledge of the event. The menu for the evening included tacos, tamales, nachos, guacamole, and specialty cocktails. The fête reportedly lasted from around 10 PM. to about 1 AM.\

THE GUEST LIST

Jenner's closest friends and family members gathered for the event. They included Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, Kris Jenner, Caitlyn Jenner, Kourtney Kardashian and her boyfriend Younes Benjamin, and Kris's cousin Cici Boussey. Kendall's girlfriends Hailey Baldwin and Justine Skye were also in tow. Other Kardashian-Jenner friends in attendance included Faye Resnick and Kyle Richards (The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills). There were less than 50 guests in total, a source said.

Kendall's sisters Khloé Kardashian and Kylie Jenner (who are both reportedly pregnant) were notably not in attendance.

Jenner's rumoured boyfriend, basketball player Blake Griffin, also made an appearance. He made a low-key entrance in ripped jeans and a grey t-shirt.

THE OUTFIT

Taking hints from her Paris Hilton-inspired birthday dress last year, Jenner donned Yves Saint Laurent's Swarovski crystal-embellished slouch boots, currently retailing for $10,000. Kendall completed the look with more causal pieces, including a white cutoff tank cop, high-waisted ripped jeans, and oversized hoop earrings.

The birthday girl documented her shimmery shoes during her ride to the restaurant.

Hailey Baldwin captured Kendall taking the first swing from inside the restaurant on her Instagram Story.

THE PHOTO BOOTH

The Kardashian-Jenner's favourite photo booth was present for guests to take advantage of. Partygoers took snaps with the birthday girl throughout the night, and posted some of the shots on Instagram.

But Jenner's birthday isn't over yet. Don't be surprised if you see more celebration photos from the model and her squad on social media tonight.
