Marc Jacobs Weds Char Defrancesco In New York

Marc Jacobs and longtime partner Char (Charly) Defrancesco have tied the knot.
The couple said "I do" in New York on Saturday (April 6) before throwing a star-studded reception at The Pool in Manhattan with models Naomi Campbell, Kate Moss, Kaia Gerber and the Hadid sisters in attendance.

The fashion designer chose an forest green suit for the occasion while Defrancesco opted for a velvet co-ord complete with a co-ordinating bow tie.

Post-nuptials, Jacobs took to Instagram to share a closer look at his wedding ensemble which featured an onyx diamond penguin pin designed by Fabio Zambernardi.
"Penguins have only one partner and mate for life. A great example of faithfulness and fidelity," he wrote alongside the image.
The newlyweds dated for three years before getting engaged last April with Jacobs famously popping the big question to Defrancesco in their favourite Mexican fast food joint.
The 55-year-old organised a flashmob dance of Prince's Kiss in the middle of a Chipotle in New York before Jacobs got down on one knee.
The designer later shared a clip of the moving proposal via Instagram alongside the caption: "And this happened...'Charly Defrancesco will you marry me'? #flashmobatchipotle #moves THANK YOU everyone for making this happen video @plural_nyc@laurengerrie @seandon212@1.800.newbold And to my Ride or Die fiancé @chardefrancesco I LOVE YOU".
