Senior Fashion Editor Windy Aulia Looks Back On Phoebe Philo's Best Moments At Céline

An ode to Phoebe Philo's Céline as seen on the pages of Harper's BAZAAR Singapore

I still remember the first time I laid my hands on Phoebe Philo's highly anticipated first instalment for Céline. The cut, the fabrics and the silhouette was oddly familiar, yet felt so new at the time. Not knowing the new wave that was coming into fashion, I immediately thought that these were clothes made with a modern woman in mind.

True enough, close to 10 years in the French house and numerous successful collections later, Philo has launched a thousand trends, changed the course of fashion and rejuvenated the wardrobe of fashionable women everywhere. And the most interesting thing is, that you can wear any Céline look from seasons ago and it still looks relevant, even now. That was one of the revelations I had as I pulled these images from the Harper's BAZAAR Singapore archive.

Phoebe Philo's contribution to fashion will be severely missed, but I can't wait to see what she will do next.
