Zayn and Gigi May Be Over, But He Still Has A Tattoo of Her

Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik have officially ended their relationship after two years together, and fans are already freaking out over the end of #Zigi. Some, however, weren't afraid to point out the very awkward fact that even though Malik has unfollowed his now-ex on Instagram, he's still stuck with one (somewhat permanent) trace of the relationship: He has a tattoo of Gigi's eyes on his chest.

We first caught sight of his Hadid-inspired ink when the model shared a video of the former One Directioner dancing around shirtless in January, when they celebrated his birthday together. A pair of eyes were visible at the center of Malik's chest, and Zigi enthusiasts immediately drew comparisons to Gigi's own peepers.

Two months later, the ink is still there. In a shirtless Instagram Malik shared earlier today, the eyes tattoo is still apparent.

Now that he and model are no longer together, Malik could still ultimately get the body art removed, but that didn't stop the Twitter-verse from mentioning the ink when the breakup news broke.

This isn't Malik's first time having at post-breakup tattoo dilemma. He got a tattooresembling his former fiancée, Little Mix's Perrie Edwards, on his upper arm in 2013, when they were still dating.

Three years later, after he started dating Gigi, photos surfaced showing Malik had the Edwards-inspired ink covered up. In a Snapchat photo posted by Hadid in in August 2016, Zayn's right arm is exposed, showing a bigger, darker tattoo in place of the Perri portrait.

We don't want to even think about Zayn covering up his Gigi eye ink just yet. We'll be over here sobbing over photos of them together in the meantime.
