Four cities, 325 looks, and tens of thousands of miles later, the transglobal project that is the cruise 2018 season has finally come to an end. This year's circuit began in Paris, where Karl Lagerfeld relived the splendors of ancient Greece with a collection tailored for modern Greek goddesses. The torch then crossed the Atlantic Ocean to California, where in the Upper Las Virgenes Canyon Open Space Preserve in Calabasas, Maria Grazia Chiuri applied ancient cave paintings that inspired Dior's 1951 collection onto skirts, ponchos, dresses and Parson's hats reminiscent of Georgia O'Keeffe's style.

The fashion brigade then descended on Kyoto and witnessed the genius of Nicolas Ghesquière unfold at the Miho Museum. The French designer paid homage to the eclecticism of Japan and Kansai Yamamoto across boxy jackets, glittery dresses embellished with Kabuki art and Samurai-worthy headgear. After a brief pause in schedule, Gucci revved up the engines once more and transported everyone to Florence. Inside the Palatina Gallery, Alessandro Michele welded his magic wand again and conjured the prettiest clothes that were the stuff of dreams.

It goes without saying that BAZAAR was in on all the action. Here, the editors who were dispatched to various corners of the globe each share their top five moments—captured in pictures, no less—from the shows.

First stop: Chanel

By Dana Koh, Lifestyle Editor

"Something old, something new, something borrowed, and something absolutely blooming and beautiful. At The Peninsula Paris."

"Who doesn't want to be Chanel's modern goddesses?"

"A new mythology takes form and reigns supreme. Just like that, Karl Lagerfeld brought back the gladiator sandal, arm cuff and headband/laurel wreath... and got us all dreaming of being modern Grecian goddesses."

"Talk about breakfast with a view!"

Third stop: Louis Vuitton

By Charmaine Ho, Executive Editor

"Louis Vuitton's welcome dinner for its international guests took place at Tofukuji Temple, which sees countless visitors flocking to its famed Tsutenkyo Bridge for beautiful autumn views of its maple tree valley. The temple is one of Kyoto's principal Zen Temples and a little birdie told me it took the brand about a year of negotiations to secure the sacred venue."

"The Miho Museum by I.M. Pei (the same architect behind the Lourve's glass pyramid) was the Louis Vuitton's chosen venue this time round. Besides, a seemingly endless runway that spanned from the the museum's tunnel to just metres from its entrance cleverly eliminated the dilemma of who gets a front row seat... everyone had one!"

"There were many looks from the 55-piece collection that I would have loved to slip into but the one that resonated the most with me was this for its juxtaposition of soft and powerful, feminine and bad-ass into a captivating whole."

"What's a fashion presentation without an after party? Dinner was held at an ochaya (a traditional tea house complete with Geishas serving guests) at Gion's Shinbashi Dori, which was closed off for the private event. Then, it was a quick walk to to Surf Disco, which quickly filled up with revellers who were eager to party with Ghesquière and his star-studded posse of friends."

"From the plethora of vintage fashion and lifestyle stores, to quirky little cafes that allow you to play with a hedgehog while having coffee, the Nishiki market offers insights to how, and what, the locals live."

Fourth stop: Gucci

"Top notch food and lovely company for lunch. A perfect way to start the day."
