Celine's Ngee Ann City Store Reopens With A New Concept

French fashion house Celine has reopened its Ngee Ann City boutique, unveiling a new store concept that mirrors artistic director Hedi Slimane's minimalist-meets-brutalist aesthetic.

Dedicated to women's ready-to-wear, leather goods, accessories and fragrance collections, the 200sqm store showcases Slimane's vision for the Celine shopping experience, boasting a "balanced and expansive sculptural interior." Set against basaltina stone floors and granite walls juxtaposed with reclaimed oak, concrete, and brass fixtures, Slimane's wooden, modular furniture is at once elegantly minimalist and alluringly primitive—infusing the sleek space with a sense of warmth.

While checking out the new space, keep your eyes peeled for Celine's Teen Soft 16 bag—the new It bag for Fall 2021 as seen on Kaia Gerber—that will be launching in-store.
