Being German in Chanel! Out And About in Hamburg With The Season's Coolest Collection

Inspired by the French luxury brand's most recent Metiers d'Art show in Hamburg, we took to the streets with two models to show us exactly how to be German in Chanel

When Chanel decided to hold its latest Metiers d'Art collection in the German city of Hamburg, we thought, 'How will Karl Lagerfeld make the quintessentially French luxury brand, German?' Well, we need not have worried. The show, held at the the newly built Hamburg Philharmonic building, the Elbphilharmonie, was a masterful ode to sailors' uniforms—think pea coats, drop-front trousers, sweaters and caps.

Inspired by #ChanelinHamburg, we took models Johanna Defant and Pauline Hoarau around the charming town (in the rain, we might add) to explore what it really means to be German in Chanel!
