BAZAAR Exclusive: Backstage At Chanel's Spring/Summer 2024 Show
An inside—and close-up— look at some of our favourite pieces from the Chanel Spring/Summer 2024 ready-to-wear collection.
For Chanel's Spring/Summer 2024 show, creative director, Virginie Viard was inspired by liberty and movement, illustrating a story with its origins in the gardens of the Villa Noailles.

The collection was an alluring blend of elegance and insouciance. Viard played with the ideas of contrasts, juxtaposing patchworks, lines, checks and stripes; as well as combinations of tweed with sportswear and lace. Tweed dressing gowns, neoprene suits and colourful terrycloth jackets were paired with flip flops and Mary Jane flats; the unexpected combinations lending themselves to an ambiance of joy, exuberance and sophistication.
That same spirit extended backstage as well, with the cast of top models including Liu Wen, Vittoria Ceretti and Anok Yai. Keep scrolling to see exclusive backstage photos from the Chanel Spring/Summer 2024 show.
