British royalty mixed with Hollywood royalty on Sunday night, when the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge attended the 2017 BAFTAs at London's Royal Albert Hall.

Kate embraced old-world elegance for her debut at the film awards. She wore a tiered floral print gown by Alexander McQueen with her hair swept up to show off her statement diamond earrings. William, who has been President of BAFTA since 2010, was suited and booted in a tuxedo for his first appearance at the ceremony in two years.

The royal couple's BAFTAs visit comes after recent tabloid gossip suggested the Duchess wasn't welcome at the awards because organizers feared she would "detract attention" from the actors and nominees. Other false reports said the Prince would attend the event alone.

They might have been some of the last to arrive, but it's safe to say the Duke and Duchess fit right in.
