She’s 63 — and loving every second of her life as a content creator. Former fashion executive Gym Tan had more than 30 years in the fashion business working for big brands like Esprit and DKNY, but today she’s creating her own fashion content as a TikTok star slash fashion and style influencer.

Boasting 145k followers on Instagram and 246k followers on TikTok, you could say Tan has earned herself a strong following who have fallen in love with her cheerful personality and, of course, her impeccable yet relatable style.

She also revealed that she never had as much influence as she has today, when she’s in her 60s. “Life gets better as you age, because you have more confidence and presence. I want to show that getting dressed should be part of your self-expression — it should be easy, and it shouldn’t require complicated combinations or designer brands.” Her mission? To spread the message that style and beauty have no age.

At 57 years of age, Greece Ghanem is taking the fashion world by storm, thanks to her unapologetic approach to dressing up.

The microbiologist-turned-style icon is prone to be seen wearing some of the coolest pieces from buzzy brands like Marine Serre, Bottega Veneta, Frankie Shop, and her seemingly endless array of Old Celine threads. She even shares content seeing her trying on lingerie – a bold statement that normalizes and gives representation to older consumers shopping at these innerwear brands. The 67-year-old New York-based clinical associate professor of social work and law at Fordham University became frustrated over the lack of representation for older women in fashion and sought to add her own voice to the sphere through a self-founded blog. Called “Want Show As Young”, the story goes that this elderly couple – named Wanji and Sho-er – ran a laundromat in Taiwan and their grandson started styling them in the threads left behind by forgetful laundromat customers.
