Gherardo Felloni is succeeding Bruno Frisoni as Roger Vivier's newest Creative Director. The latter, widely credited for revitalising and injecting the brand with an undeniable air of Parisian chic, has stepped down after spending 16 years at the helm of the label. The talented Felloni, who has worked for brands the likes of Miu Miu, Fendi and Dior, is expected to usher in a new period of creative growth for Roger Vivier.

"Roger Vivier is the absolute reference of luxury shoes. I have always been fascinated by him

and its master of modernity, its ultimate chic and its endless creativity. I feel honored to be part

of Roger Vivier today and develop it further, respecting its heritage and tradition while adding a

contemporary and modern take, something Mr. Vivier has always demonstrated," Felloni explained in a statement. The Spring/summer 2019 season will be his first collection for the brand.
