One of the highlighted designers to be attending and speaking this year is New York based, Jason Wu who has dressed the likes of Michelle Obama, Reese Witherspoon and Julianne Moore. He will be speaking at the Fashion Tech Summit called 'ZIPCODE', a new component of SGFW 2017 that will be complementing the runway shows and after-parties. It's a platform to discuss all things fashion. ZIPCODE helps fashion designers speak out about their brand as well as chance for integral business networking to take place. Social media superstars, Nicole Warne and Shini Park will also be speaking in the panel that is moderated by BAZAAR's very own Editor-In-Chief, Kenneth Goh.

SGFW 2017 will also be shining a light on modest fashion as well and showcasing modest fashion designers and their works. This is an amazing new development as it celebrates a new age of fashion that transcends faith and religion, including people from all walks of life. This is in partnership with MODESTyle, the leading modest fashion retail platform. Some of the modest fashion designers that will be showing are Dian Pelangi and Jovian Mandagie. Expect surprisingly modern takes on modest fashion and incredible craftsmanship along with an unexpectedly wearable silhouette.
