Exclusive! Inside Singapore's First Gentle Monster Store

Good news: You won't have to travel all the way to Seoul to get some eyewear from Korea's coolest cult brand Gentle Monster pretty soon. We announced some time back that the celeb favourite would be arriving on our shores soon, and now it has an official launch date. The store will open next Tuesday, 26 September, at ION Orchard, so you can head on over to explore the specially designed space. We were lucky enough to be the first few to experience the store sans crowd, but it's very likely it won't stay that way for long — grab your friends and head on down as soon as possible.

Also, the brand has specially designed a Singapore exclusive: The brand's popular Ami Adam style has been given an update with orange lenses and a flash of lime green on the temples. It's limited to only 50 pieces in Singapore, so we're expecting a rush for this!

What's more, we hear that Korean celebrity Lee Dong Wook (of Goblin fame) will also be in town on 26 September to celebrate the opening of the Gentle Monster store, so be sure to head down and get a glimpse of him!
