Instant Portraits! Capturing The BAZAAR NewGen 2016 Show On Film
We went backstage at Singapore Fashion Week 2016 with the new Michael Kors x Fujifilm Instax Mini 70 and the results were amazing
There's just something magical about instant film. Whether it's the vintage treatment that makes everyone look *amazing* or the fun of having an immediate keepsake, these miniature photos are the old school equivalent of Instagram. This is why, when we heard that Michael Kors would be launching a new Fujifilm Instax camera, we jumped at the chance to bring this fashionable accessory backstage at the Harper's BAZAAR Asia NewGen Fashion Award runway show.
The Michael Kors version of Fujifilm's Instax Mini 70 is a sleek, gold machine, personalised with Kors's signature across the back, and comes with appropriately chic accessories too. The brand's iconic Scout bag is given a tech makeover to fit both your everyday items and the camera, with just enough space to hold your photos too.
It definitely worked its magic on models and the young fashion designers alike backstage (see the gallery above) and one thing was for sure, no one could resist the charm of having their portrait taken on the spot with the fabulous camera.
The Michael Kors x Fujifilm Instax Mini 70 camera retails for $299, while the Scout bag retails at $609.
