Burberry is one of the few luxury fashion brands that has been consistently releasing Chinese New Year capsule collections in recent years—and this year is no different.
In a film directed by Derek Tsang, brand ambassadors Zhou Dongyu and Song Weilong celebrate the British label’s heritage of exploration and the outdoors. Titled A New Awakening, the motion picture also evokes a sense of almost childlike wonderment and an appreciation for adult friendships.

Along with the fashion film, Burberry has launched a Chinese New Year collection that features a reimagined Thomas Burberry emblem that celebrates the Year of the Ox—this year’s Chinese zodiac sign that’s associated with earth, power and calm.
