Every season there's that one mid-range piece that amasses a huge waiting list thanks to ticking several key boxes: desirability, versatility and affordability. This season, that must-have item is the Gabriella dress from London-based online boutique, Kitri.
The green printed shirt dress was first spotted on influencer Charlotte Groeneveld (also known as The Fashion Guitar) during New York Fashion Week, who - as part of a paid partnership with Kitri - shared an image on her Instagram feed. The picture quickly garnered more than 5,700 likes and sparked a waiting list for the style.

After further promotion on the Kitri homepage, the waiting list for the £145 dress began to grow - and now stands at more than 800 people.

So what is it about the style that makes it so covetable? What's that magic formula that makes shoppers want it above all others?
"I think it’s the ultimate spring dress: the right colours, the right style and length, and easy to style from office to evening - by switching the puffer or a leather biker jacket and a low western boot or strappy heels," Groeneveld told us.

Kitri founder Haeni Kim agrees that its success lies in its versatility.
"Green is having a real moment, it feels really fresh, directional but most importantly wearable and flattering on all skin tones," she explained.
