TANGS and TAFF Launch A New Buy-Singaporean Retail Concept

The new platform will showcase the best of Singaporean design and technology

In recent years, Singaporean icon TANGS has made a mission of promoting local design and entrepreneurship. After a successful partnership with LASALLE, College of The Arts, TANGS joins forces with TAFF (Textile and Fashion Federation Singapore) to launch Zhuang — Home of Singapore Designers, a new retail platform for Singaporean brands.

Zhuang will host more than 20 emerging clothing and lifestyle labels until April 2017, with new additions planned throughout the pop-up period. With additional support from the Singapore Tourism Board and Epson Singapore, Zhuang has recruited the talents of Frontrow by Klarra, Desinere and Hinika by Jarrod Lim among many others.

To create a dynamic display for the products, artist Daryl Goh created Installation Lucid, a colour and light-filled showcase based on projection mapping technology. A rotating selection of the designers’ looks will be projected, creating an immersive shopping experience.

Zhuang – Home of Singapore Designers is located at TANGS at Tang Plaza, Level 4 from now till mid-April 2017.
