How Angelababy Pulled Off The Fairy-Tale Wedding Of The Decade
Hint: The actress did it with a little help from a legendary French jewellery house
Every girl dreams of being a princess on her wedding day, and Hong Kong actress Angela Yeung (a.k.a. Angelababy) is no exception. The actress married her beau, the actor Huang Xiaoming, in an splendid wedding ceremony on 8 October and, of course, every detail was simply fit for royalty—from her custom Dior gown, with its delicate lace sleeves and princess train, to the exquisite bridal jewellery from Chaumet, which brought new meaning to the "something borrowed" adage for brides.
The happy couple flew to Paris to choose several jewellery pieces from the legendary house's archives for their magical day: Two diamond tiaras (the Chaumet Curvilinear Tiara made from white gold, diamonds and baroque pearls in the Empire style and the Chaumet Curls Tiara in platinum) and an antique collar necklace with an intricate lattice pattern laid out in diamonds. Regal and graceful, the jewellery complemented the blushing bride and turned her into a modern-day fairy-tale princess. Take a closer look at the gorgeous pieces that Angelababy wore for her fabulous wedding below.
