Prince George's fans do not go unnoticed. Those who sent greetings to the young royal for his fifth birthday (July 22) received a kind note from the Duke of Duchess of Cambridge in return.

On one side, the postcard features George's official fifth birthday portrait, which was taken by photographer Matt Porteous - who was also responsible for the official photos at Prince Louis' christening. Royal commentator Bradley Donovan-Baird shared the photo via his Instagram account, according to Hello!.

The Palace often sends postcards to well wishers who send letters to members of the royal family for special occasions. Recently, fans who greeted the Duchess of Sussex for her 37th birthday on August received a thank you note with a photo of Meghan.

"The Duchess of Sussex is so touched you took the trouble to write as you did on the occasion of her 37th birthday," the letter reads. "It really was most thoughtful of you and Her Royal Highness sends you her heartfelt thanks and best wishes."

The palace also thanked fans who congratulated Meghan and Harry for their royal wedding in May. The card, featuring an intimate photograph of the newlyweds seated on the steps of Windsor Castle, read:

"The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been overwhelmed by all the incredibly kind cards and letters they have received on the occasion of their Wedding, and are so touched that you took the trouble to write as you did. It really was most thoughtful of you and greatly appreciated by Their Royal Highnesses who send you their very best wishes."
