Chances are, when you're a supermodel, you're probably not short of potential suitors. But Adriana Lima is letting the world know that no matter what other relationships she has in her life, the most important one is the one she has with herself.

Lima uploaded a picture to her Instagram account on Monday, in which she's wearing a sparkling diamond ring on her engagement finger. But it wasn't given to her by a secret boyfriend she's been hiding away; she's flaunting the rock to signal, instead, what she can do on her own.

The caption suggests as much too:

"Whats up with the ring? Its symbolic, I am committed to myself and my own happiness. I am married to me. Ladies love yourself - and yes I am single"

It's not a bad idea, actually.
