Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber made their first public outing of 2018 last night, after weeks out of the spotlight. Yesterday, the pair was spotted at two of their usual date spots—church and the hockey rink.

The pair was seen at a Hillsong Church service in LA, according to TMZ. Fans caught them sitting together during the sermon, and Bieber even appeared to be stroking Gomez's hair. The two showed less PDA when they were swarmed by paparazzi on their way out of the venue.

Later that evening, they made an appearance at Los Angeles Valley Ice Center in Ventura, California, according to People, for one of Bieber's hockey games. Gomez cheered him on and took photos with fans from the bleachers.

The two were photographed as they were leaving the rink, too. Gomez went for a casual sweatshirt and jeans, while Bieber dressed down in his hockey jersey and sweats.

Jelena fans have seen hockey dates like this one before. Since getting back together, Selena has often joined Justin to the rink to watch and support him while he takes the ice. In early November, not long after her breakup with The Weeknd, Gomez was first seen at one of Bieber's games. (She was even wearing his jersey when they left together.) A couple weeks later, they shared a kiss at the rink, basically confirming their relationship status.

Last night's appearance marks one of the couple's first times out together, following their athleisure-filled pilates date in early January.
