Princess Eugenie is one of the few royals with a public Instagram account. Meghan Markle, who'd been active on social media before this year, shuttered her accounts after she got engaged to Prince Harry. And the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge keep the public updated on their goings on through the official royal accounts. But Eugenie keeps her profile active, posting adorable #tbts, candid shots with her new husband, Jack Brooksbank, and sweet family photos.

Royal watchers were paying extra attention to her account on Friday, the day the Princess wed Brooksbank at St. George's Chapel. Instagram tells BAZAAR.com that Eugenie gained more than 50,000 followers on the day of her wedding alone. By Friday night, she was up to 416,ooo followers.

Eugenie hasn't posted any photos from the big day yet. As of last night, her latest post was a #tbt with her sister Princess Beatrice from October 4, but, in that shot, they're both appropriately wearing white for what seems to be a wedding.

Beatrice had her private account accidentally revealed earlier this year when model Karlie Kloss posted a screenshot with the handle @beayork. The account isn't verified and only had about 600 followers when her cover was blown. But royal correspondent Omid Scobie told BAZAAR.com at the time: "The princesses have long had private accounts. Harry has one, too. No protocol to say it’s not allowed!"

Eugenie made her social presence public on March 5 of this year, posting: "I can think of no better day than today, International Women’s Day, to launch my personal Instagram. I hope to use this platform to share the causes, passions and people close to my heart."

Now, tens of thousands more people will be following.
