Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas are both in India right now for an incredibly important reason. The recently engaged couple have just celebrated their engagement with a traditional ceremony in Mumbai, and Chopra shared intimate photos from the event on Instagram.

Following Chopra's Instagramconfirmation of her engagement to the singer, the Quantico star shared several photos taken at the special ceremony. Known as a roka ceremony in India, the tradition takes place before members of both families, and will be followed by a big party later in the day.
Chopra and Jonas are clearly taking their relationship incredibly seriously, and today's engagement ceremony suggests that they're quickly moving towards marriage. Sharing a selection of photos from the romantic event, Chopra wrote, "The only way to do this... with Family and God. Thank you all for your wishes and blessings ??♥️?":

Jonas took to Instagram after the ceremony to celebrate his engagement, sharing an adorable photo of Chopra along with the caption, "Future Mrs. Jonas. My heart. My love." Chopra posted the same photo saying, "Taken.. With all my heart and soul..":
Joe Jonas confirmed the news, writing on Instagram, "I couldn’t be happier for my brother. Welcome to the family @priyankachopra We love you ?."
According to The Indian Express, the ceremony's priest told reporters outside of the venue that they had just "performed a puja [a prayer ritual] for a happy and a prosperous life of Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas." The publication also reports that Chopra's family booked around 200 hotel rooms to host guests attending the ceremony.
