Just as we were rejoicing at the fact that our favourite South Korean stars, Nam Joo Hyuk and Lee Sung Kyung were officially dating, recent news have spread that the couple had parted ways. It all started with rumours that the couple was drifting due to their busy schedules. However, YG Entertainment (the management company that they are both under) has made an official statement that the dashing couple have broken up, though they remain very good friends. Instead, they will be having an amicable "sunbae hoobae" (senior-junior) relationship from now on.
The couple had a shortlived public romance as they were only officially dating on 23 April 2017 (though courtship and romance is believed to have started long before, during their costarring days). Naturally, netizens were upset to hear this news, just like the rest of us in BAZAAR. After watching their undeniable chemistry in the K-drama "Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-joo", we were shipping the two starlets so hard.
