Tiffany & Co. Is Opening a Blue Box Café at Its Flagship Store

Starting this Friday, modern-day Holly Golightlys will no longer have to settle for a to-go croissant and coffee on the sidewalk; they'll be able to enjoy breakfast—and other meals—right inside Tiffany's.

Tiffany & Co. is opening a Blue Box Café in its NYC flagship on November 10. The chic new eatery will live on the building's fourth floor, which also houses the brand's new luxury home and accessories collection, baby boutique, assortment of vintage books, and sterling silver goods.

What the compact café lacks in space, it makes up for in Tiffany-esque sophistication. The brand's signature turquoise appears on the furniture, tableware, and walls (even on the amazonite stone panels). In lieu of traditional hanging art, mini display windows serve clever décor. Plus, there's a clear view of Central Park outside.

"The space is experimental and experiential–a window into the new Tiffany," chief artistic officer Reed Krakoff said in a statement

The Blue Box Café offers a simple menu that will change each season, featuring "a refined take on signature New York dishes" made from locally-sourced ingredients. For example, there's a lobster avocado salad and a C.L.T. for Charles Lewis Tiffany, or chicken, lettuce, and tomato, according to Vanity Fair. Lunch is $39 for a starter and main course.

And for Golightly fans, there is coffee and a croissant (which comes with a side of avocado toast, truffled eggs, or smoked salmon bagel) for $29. Audrey Hepburn's Givenchy dress and pearls are not included, however.

Tiffany & Co. is located at 727 5th Ave, New York, NY 10022. The Blue Box Café will operate during the store's regular working hours.
