Last night, Harper’s BAZAAR Singapore celebrated its 15th birthday at Smoke & Mirrors, and trust us when we say, it was a fabulous fashion affair to remember.
Guests, including the style cognoscenti and dear friends from the fashion industry, arrived in their After Dark Glamour’s best for a night of revelry that started with boomerangs at the first photo wall—a dimensional floral creation by Ektory. In true BAZAAR style, there were multiple photo-taking opportunities: Besides roving photographers with one shooting Polaroids only, the Cheese Effects GIF photo booth saw everyone strike fierce and animated poses with props that included a cut out of Harper’s BAZAAR Singapore editor-in-chief, Kenneth Goh’s signature hairstyle and glasses.
Spotted toasting to the success of our runway show earlier that evening were fellow BAZAAR editors and finalists of the BAZAAR Asia NewGen Fashion Award from Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia, including winner William Utama.
Though there was no birthday cake, there were scrumptious butler-passed canapés and super-sized macarons crowned with the BAZAAR logo. These gourmet bites by AMICI were complemented with an array of drinks, from Haute Shot, BAZAAR’s very own HIC Juice, to copious amounts of tipple—safe to say, we were popping bottles all night.
