Miranda Kerr Is Engaged To Snapchat Founder Evan Spiegel

Miranda Kerr announced her engagement to Snapchat founder Evan Spiegel after a year of dating earlier today, posting a photo of her ring with a proposal Bitmoji filter on her Snapchat (naturally). She followed the snap announcement with a less temporary social media shout out, posting the same photo on her Instagram:

The two met when they were seated next to each other at a dinner party for Louis Vuitton and recently purchased a home together in Los Angeles's Brentwood area. In an interview with Net-a-Porter's The Edit, Kerr described how she fell for the 25-year old social media tycoon: "He's 25, but acts like he's 50," she said. "He's not out partying. He goes to work in Venice [Beach], he comes home. We don't go out. We'd rather be at home and have dinner, go to bed early." Seems ideal for the young mother of five-year old Flynn, whose father is her ex-husband Orlando Bloom. Said the supermodel bride-to-be, "Evan met Flynn, so yeah, things are going well. Orlando thinks he's great. We're just a modern family now!"

From the looks of Miranda's classic round-cut engagement ring with sizable baguettes, we're looking forward to seeing the couple's likely-chic wedding plans as they unfold. Congratulations to the happy couple!
