Prince Oscar Of Sweden's First Royal Engagement

He may only be five months old, but Prince Oscar of Sweden has already undertaken his first royal engagement.

The newborn made an appearance with his family for his mother the Crown Princess Victoria's birthday, which is a national holiday.

Also taking part in the festivities were his father Prince Daniel and his elder sister Princess Estelle, who is four years old. The family were seen at their summer residence, Solliden Palace in Borgholm.

Oscar is a step ahead of Prince George, who only made his first public appearance at age one, when he joined his parents the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge on their tour of Australia and New Zealand.
