A US charitable organisation called Do Something, has compiled its annual ‘Celebs Gone Good’ list, which highlights the work of the most charitable stars.

This year’s list includes the likes of Rihanna, Bruno Mars, Nicki Minaj and Beyoncé – but in the top spot for 2017 is Chance the Rapper, after he raised over $3 million for schools in Chicago.

Announcing the news on Twitter, Do Something also paid tribute to Chance the Rapper’s art investment project New Chance Arts & Literature Fund.

American footballer Colin Kaepernick is in second place after donating $1 million to various charities and opening up the debate about police brutality and racial injustice across the US.

The celeb at number three is Ariana Grande, who was recognised by the organisation for her One Love Manchester tribute concert and the funds she helped raise for We Love Manchester.
