Jennifer Aniston And Adam Sandler Joke About Their Awkward Rom-Com Kissing Scenes

As if it weren't awkward enough having to act romantic with your longtime best friend for a film, try having to kiss them repeatedly.

In a new interview with USA Today, Adam Sandler joked about his kissing scenes with pal Jennifer Aniston during filming for Murder Mystery 2.

"'For God's sake, keep your mouth closed,'" he recalled saying to her. "It was so wide! Every time, she'd come with a big, wide mouth, and I'd be like, 'Whoa-ho-ho-ho-ho, whoa! What are we doing?'"

Aniston, meanwhile, shared that while filming the first Murder Mystery, she asked Sandler to apply beard oil to prep for their kissing scenes.

Sandler and Aniston have kissed in all three of the romantic comedies they've starred in together (Just Go with It in 2011, Murder Mystery in 2019, and Murder Mystery 2, which hits Netflix today), but the comedian said it hasn't gotten less awkward for them.

Still, the two remain close as ever. "He really takes care of me," Aniston said of Sandler. "When he loves you, he loves you deeply and cares for you deeply. So I always feel very taken care of."

The Friends alum joked in a previous interview, on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, that Sandler is so protective of her he always disapproves of her love interests. "If I get anything from him, it's, 'What are you doing?' Usually based on someone I'm dating. 'What are you doing? What's wrong with you?'" she said.

The good friends attended the Murder Mystery 2 premiere in Los Angeles earlier this week and couldn't stop laughing while posing for photos together.
