The Coolest Fashion Designer And Interior Collaborations

Hermès launched their first collection of interiors products in 2011. Much like their ready-to-wear collection and accessories, the homeware line focuses on craftsmanship and timeless, quality design.

The Italian fashion house Bottega Veneta may be best known for its leather goods, but its homewares line, launched in 2006, expands year on year. From furniture and soft-furnishings to home fragrances, tableware and lighting, each of the designs is modern and luxurious with clean lines and sumptuous textures.

The collection pays homage to the cult Nineties film Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas and includes an assortment of cushions, throws, rugs and upholstered furniture in the label's bright and bold S/S 16 fabrics.

House of Holland has teamed up with the high-street favourite Habitat to launch a capsule interiors range, launching on the 28 April in store and online.

In a surprising but rather wonderful collaboration, Dolce & Gabbana has joined forces with Smeg to create a completely unique collection of fridges. There are 100 hand-painted designs to choose from, each inspired by mediaeval Sicilian horse carts that were painted with pictorial scenes in order educate illiterate villagers.

With such a loyal and established following of their fashion line, it's unsurprising that Ralph Lauren branched into the home market too, creating an entire lifestyle line, with fabrics, furnishings, wall coverings and tableware in styles ranging from colonial chic to elegant Hamptons beach-house style.

Missoni's iconic printed textiles were translated into interiors way back in 1983, thirty years after the Italian knitwear label was founded. The line now includes everything from cushions and crockery to upholstered furniture and provides the perfect pop of colour for a neutral scheme.

Hermès Home also includes some extremely covetable porcelain tableware. The Carnets d'Équateur range follows on from the Kenya and Équateur scarf collections, designed by the artist Robert Dallet in 1984.

Images of Fendi's 'Armchair of a thousand eyes' flooded our Instagram feed when it launched at the Salone del Mobile in Milan last year. Designed by the Brazilian duo the Campana brothers for Fendi, the chair is made up of more than 100 of the brand's furry 'bag bugs'. At £50,000 it doesn't come cheap, but it is guaranteed to be an eye-catching design classic.
