If you've been keeping a close eye on Instagram this past Fashion Month, you would have noticed both fashion models and front row influencers changing up their game for the 'gram. From the most gorgeous sparkly effects to old school video filters, there's no denying the draw of these reality-enhancing apps. Accordingly, we've been inspired to open our App Stores and Play Stores to download them for ourselves too, so read on to find out exactly what you need.

KIRAKIRA+

By far our favourite new app of the bunch, kirakira+ literally adds a sparkle to everything that you capture on video. From Irene Kim to Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, this is quickly catching on as the most downloaded app among fashion folk this season. Also, the app's recent update now includes photo capabilities too.

VHS CAMCORDER

Longing for those good old days of time-stamped, lo-fi video? VHS Camcorder lets you filter your videos with that grainy, almost monotone effect that has captured the attention of models such as Taylor Hill, and local Singaporean influencers like Mae Tan.

SNOW

A long-time favourite of Asian celebrities and models, the SNOW app has since gained traction because of its high quality filters and video treatments. As you can tell, model/TV personality Georgina Wilson is definitely a fan!

VSCO

A perennial favourite of the fashion set, VSCO is the go-to app to give a gorgeous tinge to all your photos. The app also lets you add grain to your photo for a film effect, sharpen, adjust tones and highlights and many more. We hear Chriselle Lim is huge fan of the S2 and A6 filters on VSCO!
