Katy Perry was one of the standout guests at King Charles III's coronation this morning.

The "Firework" singer attended the ceremony at Westminster Abbey alongside British Vogue editor-in-chief Edward Enninful ahead of her performance at the Coronation Concert. For the occasion, the pop star wore a spring-appropriate monochromatic skirt suit and dramatic circular fascinator in a lovely shade of lavender.

The ensemble was comprised of a knee-length skirt, a short-sleeved blazer with a peplum hem and lilac corsage, opera gloves, and a mesh headpiece. She accessorised the look with a three-strand pearl choker by Vivienne Westwood, featuring a diamond-encrusted pendant shaped as the Sovereign's Orb, while carrying a small white handbag also by the late British designer.

Ahead of the ceremony, Perry inspired one of the first memes of the coronation. She was filmed while searching for her seat in the packed abbey, as she and Enninful wandered around the church searching for an open seat. The relatable moment prompted one Twitter user to tweet, "Me as a kid going aisle to aisle after getting lost in the grocery store."

Sunday's concert is one of the headlining events of the weekend of coronation festivities celebrating the king's historic ascension to the throne. In addition to Perry, performers include Lionel Richie, Andrea Bocelli, and British band Take That. The event, which will take place on the grounds of Windsor Castle, will also include a segment called "Lighting Up the Nation," in which different iconic locations across the U.K. will be lit up via projections, lasers, drone displays, and illuminations.
