Alas, 2021 has birthed another unexpected celebrity romance.
Yesterday, actor Michael B. Jordan and model-influencer Lori Harvey, who is also the daughter of talk show host Steve Harvey, took to Instagram to confirm their long-speculated relationship. Sharing the news at the same time, the pair posted images of themselves cozying up, leaving fans to rely on the couple's visual chemistry rather than a detailed caption to confirm the new relationship.
In Harvey's post, she shared two photos of her and Jordan, both in vintage-inspired Polaroid form. One features the actor moving in for a kiss on the cheek while she beams, and another shows the couple dressed up and posing in front of a Christmas tree. She captioned the pics with a single brown heart.

Jordan (who was recently named People's Sexiest Man Alive) shared a grittier pair of photos on his Instagram. Each of the two pics showcase him and his girlfriend gazing at each other with holiday lights blurred amid a dark background. Though he didn't leave a caption, he did tag his lovely in the photo—just as she did.

The two were first rumored to be romantic back in November, when they were photographed stepping off a plane together over Thanksgiving in Harvey's hometown, Atlanta, where Jordan joined her for the holiday. Most recently, the new couple were seen together touching down in Salt Lake City, where they reportedly spent New Year's Eve, per The Sun.
Jordan recently expressed to People what he looks for in a romantic partner, claiming, "A sense of humor, true understanding," are the ultimate personality factors, "because [an actor's] life is not conducive to a relationship—it's really not."
While Jordan has kept his dating life extremely private in recent years, Harvey has been most recently linked to rappers Future and Diddy.
