- Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi shared two photos taken at their July 17 wedding at Windsor.

- The bride and groom appear in one of the photos with Beatrice's grandparents, Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip.

- Photos were not released the day of the ceremony to avoid overshadowing veteran Captain Tom Moore's investiture by the queen later that day.

Newlyweds Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi have revealed images from their private wedding ceremony in Windsor on Friday.

Taken by photographer Benjamin Wheeler, the photographs show the bride and groom leaving The Royal Chapel of All Saints at Royal Lodge in Windsor following their wedding ceremony, and posing with Beatrice's grandparents, Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip.

For the private ceremony, Beatrice wore a stunning vintage dress borrowed from her grandmother. The dress was designed by Norman Hartnell, and is made from Peau De Soie taffeta, with an ivory Duchess satin trim. It also features organza sleeves, a checkered, geometric bodice, and is adorned with diamanté.

The royal pair withheld from sharing photos on the day of their wedding so as not to eclipse the investiture ceremony of Captain Tom Moore, a 100-year-old veteran who fundraised millions of dollars for the National Health Service in the United Kingdom for coronavirus relief. The queen left the wedding ceremony early to bestow the knighthood at Windsor Castle.

The couple, who became engaged in 2018, wed in a small, secret ceremony on Friday morning at The Royal Chapel of All Saints. The queen, Prince Philip, and Beatrice's parents Prince Andrew and Sarah, Duchess of York were among those in attendance. "The wedding took place in accordance with all relevant Government Guidelines," Buckingham Palace announced in a statement.

The royal wedding was originally scheduled for May 29 at Buckingham Palace, but was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
