Priyanka Chopra And Nick Jonas Are Reportedly Having An Engagement Party In Mumbai

The next step in Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas' relationship? Introducing their families to their future in-laws. The couple will be celebrating their recent engagement with a huge party this weekend, Cosmopolitan reports.

The rumors stem from Indian newspaper DNA India, which reported that Chopra is planning a soirée with her friends and family in Mumbai this weekend, and Jonas and his family are flying out to attend.

Apparently, the celebration is slated for August 18, a month after Chopra's birthday (when Jonas reportedly proposed) and "those close to the Quantico actress feel that she may make an official announcement about her relationship status at the bash," a source told DNA.

The couple is keeping tight-lipped about the upcoming festivities, as they have been with the rest of their relationship. However, a source recently told People that Nick "and his family are going to India to meet her family."

News of the party arrives after Jonas reportedly confirmed his engagement to Chopra over the weekend, when someone congratulated him.

Priyanka previously brought Nick to Mumbai in June, where he spent time with her family, including her parents and brother. The couple went Instagram official during their trip before jetting off to Brazil, and then later to New York and London.

The Quantico star also met the Jonas clan about two weeks before the Mumbai visit, when Nick brought her to a family wedding in New Jersey. The couple has also been seen hanging out with other Jonas Brothers, Joe (with his fiancée, Game of Thrones' Sophie Turner) and Kevin.
