Rihanna Says She'll Be "Psycho" About Protecting Her Child
The mogul is opening up about her third-trimester experience.

Rihanna is already feeling her mother-bear instincts kick in.
In a new interview with ELLE, the superstar and Fenty mogul—who is expecting her first child with boyfriend A$AP Rocky—opened up about her expectations of motherhood and her experience of being in the third trimester of her pregnancy.
When asked if her glow was attributed to her Fenty Beauty products or her pregnancy, Rihanna answered, "They go hand in hand. There's a pregnancy glow. There's also those days, girl. Especially in the third trimester where you wake up and you're like, oh, do I have to get dressed? Makeup for sure helps you feel like a real person. … Everything is a challenge, from getting dressed and how you're going to do your makeup. But I like challenges."

Rihanna also compared her future parenting style to that of Heather Dubrow and Teresa Giudice of the Real Housewives reality TV franchise.
"Heather Dubrow is so chic while being a mom. Just love the way that she just allows her kids to be who they are," the singer said. "And that's really inspiring to me. But Teresa [Giudice] from Jersey does not play about her kids. … She will flatten you about those kids. And that resonates with me a lot because I feel like that's the type of mom I'm going to be. Psycho about it."
She added, "You talk about my kids, it's over."

Rihanna previously opened up about her pregnancy while at a Fenty Beauty Universe event in Los Angeles last month.
"It's all an exciting journey so far. I'm just taking it as it comes every week," she told Entertainment Tonight. "There's always something new and I'm just taking it and I'm enjoying it."
She also spoke about her bold maternity looks and having fun with fashion with her baby bump.
"Fashion is one of my favorite things, so, you know, we're defying what it even means to be pregnant and maternal," she added. "It can get uncomfortable at times and so you can dress the part and pretend."
