Gigi Hadid And Leonardo DiCaprio Apparently Aren’t Dating Anymore
Here’s why the model allegedly broke up with him.
Gigi Hadid and Leonardo DiCaprio’s romance has apparently fizzled out.
Nearly a year after the two first sparked dating rumors, an insider told Us Weekly their relationship has officially run its course.
While they’re “still in touch,” the source said, “Leo and Gigi aren’t together anymore.”
The Wolf of Wall Street actor, who is 20 years Hadid’s senior, “really saw himself dating” the model, per the source, but she ultimately chose to end the relationship. Her reasoning, in part, is due to her three-year-old daughter Khai, whom she shares with ex Zayn Malik. “[Her] first priority is her child,” the source added. “[She] doesn’t want to date someone seriously unless she can introduce them to her child.”
The couple’s busy work schedules also kept them from moving forward with their relationship. “They both travel a lot by nature of their jobs. But Gigi is taking more work that allows her to spend more time with her child,” the source said. “And Leo still travels a lot and likes to go out a lot. And there’s temptation and all those factors had been concerns of hers.”
They continued, “She doesn’t want her boyfriend to be in and out going to clubs and events and working all the time. She wants someone to be hands-on and a partner.”
Hadid and DiCaprio have enjoyed an on-and-off romance since they were first photographed together during a New York Fashion Week party last September.
“He really likes that she has her life together,” a source told People at the time. “She has a child and she’s mature. He wants to be with someone who has the same idea of good causes and political views like he does.”
