Wearing floral prints can be daunting, especially for men. The bold and boisterous pattern is often fashioned in an array of vibrant colours that can seem scary to men.
Yet, brands have been pushing the boundaries of what men should, and could, wear. The recent FW20 shows saw Dries Van Noten, MSGM and Valentino sending models down in floral-printed designs for their menswear collections. Most of the time, it’s the styling that makes florals look too ostentatious for everyday wear. When you break the look apart, it’s pretty easy to rock it out.

1. Keep it to two colours

Crazy coloured floral prints can be off-putting so limit yourself to just two hues.
The easiest way to pull this off is to choose either white or black as your base shade. Next, pick an option that you’re comfortable with – it can be navy, khaki or even crimson. Make sure your complementary accessories such as shoes or belt also stay within the same palette.

2. Choose a statement piece
