Fendi Has Officially Joined The Metaverse

After toying with designing a range of “techcessories” with London brand Chaos in 2020, Fendi is now moving to creating luxury goods for the metaverse.

The brand has just unveiled a range of crypto hardware wallet accessories in their first collaboration with Ledger, a global platform for cryptocurrencies and digital assets.

The collaboration debuted recently at the Fendi Men’s Fall/Winter 2022 show on January 15, in Milan. Two designs have been revealed so far: cases for Ledger’s latest hardware wallet called the Ledger Nano X.

Ahead, a closer look at what’s in store when the collaboration drops exclusively on Fendi’s e-site this June.

This design is a nod to Fendi’s iconic Baguette pochette. Here, it manifests as a miniature model complete with polished aluminum, embossed rivets, and buckle details, opening just like the bag to pop in the Ledger Nano X.

The second wallet case is an iteration of the Delfina Delettrez Fendi-designed Fendi O’Lock chain, this time as a capsule shape with the brand’s logo embossed. A concealed hinge drawer flips open and close to encase the Ledger Nano X.
