“I have a collection of more than 20 hats. My favourite, made by a friend from Cape Town, has a quote by Sufi poet Rumi on the brim: “What you seek is seeking you”. It reminds me of the law of attraction—that my thoughts and intentions will draw good or bad things my way.”

“The sunset in Valle de la Luna in the Atacama Desert in Chile is the most surreal view. A close second would be camping around the Ngorongoro crater in Tanzania. Simply observing wildlife and being part of it reminds me how mighty and beautiful nature is, and how much there is that we don’t know. A dramatic sunset at Valle de la Luna, Chile
