For Dolce & Gabbana’s Spring/Summer 2023 menswear collection, designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana dug deep into the archives for inspiration. Some of the looks in the show harked back to the years of 1990 and 2000, where the pieces are reinterpreted with updated silhouettes and details.
For these archival pieces, they come with a cotton label with the inscription "Re-Edition" that indicates the year the garment was first presented and that of the new Spring/Summer 2023. What this means is, each item has a different, unique and exclusive label.
Denim remains as the main focus for this collection, renewed with classic lace and brocade, as well as with modern fabrics treated with “innovative processing for vintage or three-dimensional effects”.
