Fans first fell in love with Flynn when he made his appearance on CBS’ daytime drama The Bold and the Beautiful—a role that would eventually earn the young actor a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Young Actor in a Drama Series. However, it was his portrayal as the suave law stud Gabriel Maddox on ABC‘s How To Get Away With Murder in 2018 that eventually propelled him into the mainstream media spotlight. Since then the heartthrob has been using his platform on social media to highlight the Black Lives Matter movement as well as making many of his social media followers’ hearts race with his fitness and workout regimes. Here are more reasons why he should be on your radar:
He challenges the status quo
In an Interview with FOX, Flynn spoke up about the change needed in Hollywood and voiced his concerns on the storytelling and narratives of black individuals on television and film. He said that “we have to make sure we hold these productions and these people of power accountable.”
Besides challenging the status quo in Hollywood, he also wants to bring attention to black-owned businesses in solidarity with Black Lives Matter.
He’s the face of Balmain’s Spring 2021Campaign
Balmain’s creative director Olivier Rousteing handpicked Rome to be part of Balmain‘s Spring 2021 menswear campaign. Other members of the exclusive Balmain Army include Jorge López, Nicholas Galitzine, and Jon Kortajarena. For this campaign, Rome donned delicious bold sherbet colours, as seen on his IG account.
He’s a TikTok thirst trap
Flynn is not ashamed of showing off his toned physique. From his Twitter to TikTok, Flynn often put up videos of him working out at the gym or at the basketball court breaking a sweat (and we don’t have a problem with that). If you’ve worked hard and put time in building that sick body, why not share it with the world?
He knows his rhythm & blues
Rome Flynn isn’t just a talented actor, he also has an impressive vocal range. Check out his music video above.
His effortless sex appeal
Grey sweatpants, tattoo-ed biceps and rock hard abs. ‘Nuff said.
