How do you prepare for a night out?
I start off by smoothing on Lancôme’s Teint Foundation. I feel like I’m not wearing anything on my skin and it blurs all imperfections. Then I brush on layers of Hypnôse mascara. It’s smooth enough to apply quite a bit without smearing, smudging or clumping.
What’s your beauty routine like?
I do yoga in the morning, then I shower and moisturise well to ensure my skin stays baby soft… and that’s it for the day. At night, I make sure I take every ounce of makeup off.
You travel a lot for work. Do you take extra care of your skin when you’re on the plane?
I use essential oil compresses; it’s like herbal steam for my face for when I have a hectic travel schedule. I also love Lancôme’s Hydra-Zen as it soothes and hydrates my skin when I’m on the go.
How do you recover from jetlag?
I’m pretty used to it now, but I have to say that I’ve recently become a fanatic water drinker.
I try to force myself to drink as much as I can while I’m on the plane. The trick is really to try and sleep through the day. There’s not much else you can do.
What’s the best piece of beauty advice you have ever received?
My mum always reminds me to take care of myself and my body—like doing bodywork, massages and exercise. I’ve definitely started to mind myself more and more, and I find it boosts my energy levels.
